NBA Game Summary - Toronto at Milwaukee

Milwaukee, WI (Basketball News) - Bobby Simmons scored 18 points as the Milwaukee Bucks routed the Toronto Raptors, 108-87, at the Bradley Center.

Michael Redd and Maurice Williams each netted 15 and Andrew Bogut scored 14 points and grabbed 10 boards for the Bucks, who snapped a two-game losing streak. Jamaal Magloire contributed 13 points and 11 rebounds.

Chris Bosh had 21 points and Jalen Rose added 14 for the Raptors, who lost their fourth consecutive game. Charlie Villanueva scored 13 points in the loss.

The Bucks led 11-5 on Simmons jumper, but Toronto tied the game with a 10-4 run, capped by a pair of Bosh free throws. Milwaukee led 27-24 after 12 minutes of play.

With Milwaukee leading 38-34 with 6:36 to play in the half, the Bucks reeled off a 12-3 spurt, highlighted by a pair of Simmons three-pointers to make the score 50-37. Toronto trailed by 10, 54-44, at the half.

The Bucks opened the third quarter with a 20-5 streak, including seven points from Redd and six from Magloire, to put the game away and give Milwaukee a comfortable 74-49 edge and the Bucks led 79-56 heading into the final frame. The Raptors were outscored 25-12 in the third period.

Toronto could not overcome its offensive struggles or the Bucks’ physical dominance and got no closer than 18 points in the fourth. Milwaukee scored 56 points in the paint and won the rebounding edge, 42-35.

Williams left the game in the fourth quarter after spraining his left ankle and is listed as day-to-day...The Bucks connected on 58.4 percent of their shots, including 8-of-19 from long distance, while the Raptors shot 40.5 percent from the field...Milwaukee had 33 assists...The Bucks have won seven of the last 10 meetings...Toronto had won three straight at Milwaukee...The Bucks are 12-9 as the host, while the Raptors have an 8-16 record on the road...Toronto’s Matt Bonner and Joey Graham each scored 10 points...Milwaukee’s Dan Gadzuric had 11 points.
