Seattle, WA (Basketball News) - Rashard Lewis had 22 points as the Seattle SuperSonics blew out the Utah Jazz, 113-81, at Key Arena.
Ray Allen had 20 points and eight assists and Damien Wilkins added 14 points and seven steals off the bench for the SuperSonics, who have won two of their last three games.
Luke Ridnour added 12 points and nine assists for Seattle, which has taken the last three games against Utah.
Carlos Boozer had 14 points and eight rebounds and Deron Williams added 12 points for the Jazz, who have lost two of their last three games.
The Sonics were in control of this game from the start. A 12-4 run in the first quarter posted them to a 21-11 lead after Nick Collison hit a free throw to complete a three-point play with 5:18 left. The Sonics led 27-21 at the end of the quarter.
Seattle opened up the second with a 10-4 run and led 37-25 when Chris Wilcox put in an alley-oop slam with 9:28 left until halftime. They led by as many as 16 points in the quarter and went into the locker room with a 61-47 advantage.
The Sonics hit 57.5 percent of their shots in the first half, compared to the 37.5 percent shooting for the Jazz.
"Everybody knows where they should be on defense," said Allen. "When they are not we know it. Guys are doing a good job of playing on defense."
Seattle continued to pull further away in the third quarter. The Sonics started the quarter on a 10-5 run completed by a Allen finger roll to make it 71-52 a little under four minutes in. The team took a 91-68 lead into the final 12 minutes.
Utah never got close in the final quarter as Seattle continued the rout.
