Richardson carries Warriors over Kings 12.1.2005

Oakland, CA (Basketball News) - Jason Richardson poured in a season-high 33 points, handed out six assists and grabbed five rebounds, as Golden State downed Sacramento, 113-106 at The Arena.
Baron Davis contributed 25 points and a game-high 16 helpers for the Warriors, who have won four straight games.
Mike Dunleavy Jr. added 19 points while Troy Murphy posted 14 points and 10 boards for Golden State, which shot 47 percent from the field.
Shareef Abdur-Rahim had a season-high 24 points and Bonzi Wells went for 23 with eight rebounds for the Kings, who had their three-game winning streak halted. Mike Bibby scored 20 points in the loss.
The Warriors, who also made 12-of-31 three-point shots, held a commanding 49-32 edge on the glass.
Trailing by seven at halftime, Sacramento pulled within 65-63 on Brad Miller’s three-pointer just over four minutes into the third quarter.
However, Golden State took over from there as it used a 13-1 spurt to grab a 14-point advantage. Davis had five points and Murphy added three during the big run, while Richardson’s basket with around 3 1/2 minutes left in the period capped the flurry and made it 78-64. The Warriors eventually led 82-72 after three quarters.
The Kings never seriously threatened in the final period and did not get any closer than six points.
After the teams were knotted at 31 after one quarter, Golden State took a 57-50 edge into the intermission.
