Bucks host A.I. and injury-plagued Sixers

Milwaukee, WI (Basketball News) - The Philadelphia 76ers try to avoid losing their second straight on the road tonight when they visit the Milwaukee Bucks for an Eastern Conference battle at the Bradley Center.

Injuries continue to effect the 76ers, who were defeated by the New York Knicks, 99-88, on Saturday at Madison Square Garden.

Allen Iverson paced Philadelphia with 27 points. Eric Snow, Kenny Thomas and Aaron McKie each netted 14 points for the 76ers, who had a two-game winning streak snapped.

Philadelphia once again played without forwards Glenn Robinson (ankle) and Derrick Coleman (knee). Coleman is questionable for tonight’s game.

Robinson, who is a former Buck, was placed on the injured list Tuesday. The 76ers activated guard Greg Buckner, who was out with a hamstring injury. Buckner has not played in a game this season.

Philadelphia’s Marc Jackson collected 11 points and nine rebounds against the Knicks, while Eric Snow handed out eight assists.

The 76ers were an impressive 29-of-32 from the foul line against the Knicks.

Thomas is questionable for tonight’s game with right knee tendinitis.

Philadelphia is 4-4 as the visitor this season.

Toni Kukoc scored 15 points to lead the Milwaukee Bucks to an easy 82-62 win over the Toronto Raptors at Air Canada Centre on Sunday.

Tim Thomas and Michael Redd each contributed 14 points for the Bucks, who put an end to their three-game skid.

Joe Smith chipped in 12, while T.J. Ford added eight points, eight rebounds and six assists in the win.

The Bucks are 3-3 at home.

In 2002-03, the teams split four games as each club won once at home and once on the road. Philadelphia defeated the Bucks, 108-81, at the Bradley Center on January 28, 2003 to snap a two-game losing streak to Milwaukee

Overall, the 76ers have won five seven and six of the last nine meetings between the two squads.

Philadelphia has been victorious in three of four and eight of its last 10 at Milwaukee.
