Bucks place Strickland on injured list

Milwaukee, WI (Basketball News) - The Milwaukee Bucks placed guard Erick Strickland on the injured list Thursday with a lateral meniscus tear of the right knee. He will miss a minimum of two weeks.

Strickland has appeared in 16 games this season and is averaging 4.3 points and 2.2 assists per contest.

The 31-year-old Strickland is in his ninth NBA season, also spending time with Dallas, New York, Vancouver, Boston and Indiana. In 455 career games, he has posted averages of 7.8 points, 2.7 rebounds and 2.5 assists.
