Bucks, Sonics meet at Bradley Center

(Basketball News) - The Seattle SuperSonics begin a six-game road trip tonight, as they visit the Milwaukee Bucks at the Bradley Center.

Seattle attempts to get back on the winning track this evening as it begins a six-game road trip. On Sunday, Carmelo Anthony poured in 33 points as the Denver Nuggets edged the SuperSonics, 120-112, in overtime at KeyArena.

All-Star Ray Allen led Seattle with 34 points on 10-of-20 shooting from the field in the loss to Denver, as the SuperSonics dropped their fifth game in their last six overall. Damien Wilkins finished with a double-double with 21 points and 10 boards in defeat.

The SuperSonics are 8-17 as the visitor this season. They will visit Minnesota on Wednesday in their final contest before the All-Star break. Seattle will also play San Antonio, Atlanta, Orlando and Miami.

Milwaukee also tries to get back on the winning track. Vince Carter had 24 points and five assists to lead the New Jersey Nets to a 94-79 win over the e Bucks on Sunday at Continental Airlines Arena.

Michael Redd paced Milwaukee with 27 points and T.J. Ford contributed 18 points and six assists in the loss to New Jersey for the Bucks, who had a two- game winning streak snapped and have lost four of their last seven games overall.

The Bucks are 16-9 as the host this season. Milwaukee will visit the Indiana Pacers on Wednesday at Conseco Fieldhouse in its final game before the All- Star break.

This is the first of two meetings between the clubs. The Sonics are scheduled to host the Bucks on March 22nd at KeyArena.

The Sonics have won four of the last five meetings in this series. Seattle has lost two of its last three at Milwaukee.
