On Saturday, Andres Nocioni tallied 20 points off the bench and the Bulls won their first game in Indiana since the Michael Jordan era - 101-89. Kirk Hinrich scored 16 points and grabbed seven rebounds, while Tyson Chandler posted 15 points and 14 rebounds for Chicago, which won its first contest in Indiana since March 17, 1998.
Chicago will continue a busy week with three more games - at Toronto (14-28), Washington (18-21) and Atlanta (11-28).
The Bulls have won their last 11 games against Toronto. They have also won four consecutive games against Atlanta, so it appears that the Bulls are set up to continue their hot streak.
Then its off on a seven-game road trip which will include stops in Dallas, Phoenix and Los Angeles.
Forward Eric Piatkowski (ankle) is questionable for Wednesday’s game against the Raptors.
The Bulls have outrebounded the opposition during the month of January in eight of 11 games, but are just 5-6 during that span.
