Bulls’ Hinrich fined $25K

New York, NY (Basketball News) - Chicago Bulls guard Kirk Hinrich was fined $25,000 on Monday for throwing his mouthpiece into the stands during Game 1 of his teams quarterfinal playoff series against the Miami Heat.

Hinrich made the costly toss with 11:01 remaining in the third quarter of Saturday’s eventual 96-91 win.

He finished the game with just two points and three assists in 19 minutes of action, playing in foul trouble.
