Andres Nocioni scored 21 points off the bench as the Bulls downed Central- Division-rival Milwaukee, 99-90, on Wednesday at the Bradley Center.
Ben Gordon poured in 20 points and Luol Deng netted 19 and pulled down nine rebounds inthe win over the Bucks for the Bulls, who have won three in a row after a three-game losing streak. Kirk Hinrich contributed 16 points and nine assists, while Ben Wallace pulled down 10 boards in the victory.
Chicago is 17-5 at home this season. The Bulls are scheduled to visit the Indiana Pacers on Monday at Conseco Fieldhouse.
Utah has won two in a row and plays the finale of a four-game road trip this evening. On Friday, Mehmet Okur posted a team-high 27 points, while Carlos Boozer chipped in 23 points and 19 rebounds to lead the Jazz past the Toronto Raptors, 102-94, at the Air Canada Centre.
Deron Williams tallied 16 points and dished out eight assists for the Jazz, who have won two straight following a four-game slide. Derek Fisher ended with 10 points, while Jarron Collins registered eight points off the bench.
The Jazz are 12-10 on the road this season. After tonight’s contest, they return home for a three-game stand. Utah will host Minnesota, Memphis and Denver on the upcoming homestand.
This is the first of two meetings between the clubs this season. Utah is scheduled to host the Jazz on February 5th at EnergySolutions Arena.
Utah has lost two straight and three of its last four at Chicago.
