Bulls place Chandler on injured list

Chicago, IL (Basketball News) - The Chicago Bulls placed forward Tyson Chandler on the injured list Monday with lower back pain.

Chandler, who has played in 10 games this season, will be sidelined for at least five games. On the season, he is averaging 13.0 points and team-highs with 10.3 rebounds and 1.3 blocks per game.

To make room for Chandler, the Bulls activated forward Linton Johnson III. Johnson was first placed on the IL on November 18 with a right ankle sprain and has missed the club’s last five games.
