Bulls waive Thomas

Chicago, IL (Basketball News) - The Chicago Bulls waived forward Tim Thomas on Wednesday.

Thomas appeared in three games with the Bulls this season and averaged 4.3 points and 1.3 rebounds in 10.7 minutes.

The 6-10, 235-pounder came to Chicago via trade with the New York Knicks on October 4, 2005. He has career averages of 11.9 points and 4.0 rebounds in nine seasons with Philadelphia, Milwaukee, New York and Chicago.
