Cato placed on IL

Salt Lake City, UT (Basketball News) - Orlando Magic center Kelvin Cato was placed on the injured list Wednesday with a left shoulder injury.

The 30-year-old Cato hurt the shoulder during the third quarter of Monday’s 115-102 loss at Denver. Cato, in his first season with the Magic, is averaging 7.7 points and 8.9 rebounds in 14 games.

Meanwhile, Orlando activated forward Michael Bradley from the injured list. Bradley, who was sidelined with a hamstring injury, is averaging two rebounds in three games for the Magic this season.

The Magic continue their season-long six-game road trip in Utah on Wednesday.
