Cavs forward Newble out 4-6 weeks 11.11.2005

Cleveland, OH (Basketball News) - Cleveland Cavaliers forward Ira Newble is expected to be sidelined the next four-to-six weeks due to plantar fasciitis in his right foot.
Newble received high energy shockwave treatment Friday morning in Pittsburgh. The procedure was performed by Dr. Edward Snell, the physician for the Pittsburgh Pirates, at the Southwest Ambulatory Surgical Center.
The 30-year-old Newble played in 74 games (69 starts) with the Cavaliers last season and averaged 5.9 points, 3.0 rebounds and 1.2 assists in 24.8 minutes per game. He scored in double figures 15 times. He has been on the inactive list for every game this season.
