(Basketball News) - A pair of teams looking for consecutive wins battle tonight in New Jersey, as Jason Kidd and the Nets run with LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers at Continental Airlines Arena.
Cleveland enters this contest fresh off a 107-97 win over the Minnesota Timberwolves at Gund Arena on Tuesday night. James racked up 26 points and 12 assists to lead the Cavs to just their third win in seven games.
Zydrunas Ilgauskas netted 25 points, while Jeff McInnis connected on 7-of-10 field-goal attempts in a 21-point effort. Cleveland stopped a two-game slide and improved to 10-2 at home. Drew Gooden chipped in 13 points in the winning effort.
Cleveland guard Eric Snow returned to action following a one-game team suspension for a sideline argument with head coach Paul Silas on Thursday. Snow finished with four points and five assists in 17 minutes of action.
The Cavs hit 52.7 percent from the field, including 1-of-5 from three-point range. Cleveland drained 28-of-31 (.903) from the free throw line.
Cleveland, which has lost three of its last four road contests, is just 5-8 in foreign buildings this season.
The Cavs have won two straight in this series on the heels of a two-game series losing streak.
