(Basketball News) - LeBron James scored a game-high 32 points to lead the Cleveland Cavaliers over the San Antonio Spurs, 89-87, on Friday at Gund Arena.
Zydrunas Ilgauskas added 16 points and 12 boards for the Cavaliers, who snapped a two-game losing streak.
With just 37 seconds to play, Ilgauskas scored over Tim Duncan to give the Cavaliers an 88-87 advantage and they held on for the victory.
After a Spurs’ turnover on the ensuing possession, San Antonio was forced to foul Dajuan Wagner, who made one-of-two from the stripe for the game’s final point. Manu Ginobili threw up a three as the horn sounded, but it came up short for the Spurs.
Cleveland improved to 15-13 at home this season.
The Cavs are off until Sunday when they visit the New York Knicks.
