(Basketball News) - The Cleveland Cavaliers suffered a 92-81 loss to Central Division rival Chicago on Monday at the United Center.
Zydrunas Ilgauskas had 19 points and 10 rebounds for Cleveland, which lost for only the second time in six games. The Cavaliers, who are battling for a playoff spot in the weak Eastern Conference, also received 18 points from rookie phenom LeBron James.
Carlos Boozer finished with 12 points and 13 boards for Cleveland in the defeat. The Cavaliers fell to 8-23 on the road this season. Cleveland ended a three-game road trip with a record of 1-2.
The Cavaliers made hit just 1-of-12 of their attempts from three-point range in the loss.
Cleveland is off until Wednesday when it hosts the Atlanta Hawks. The Cavaliers lost 92-83 to the Hawks on November 22, 2003 at Atlanta, while Cleveland beat the Hawks, 95-85, on December 6 at Gund Arena.
Ilgauskas has scored in double digits in 13 straight games. He is averaging 17.5 points and 9.7 rebounds in that span.
