Clippers tender Jaric

Los Angeles, CA (Basketball News) - The Los Angeles Clippers tendered a qualifying offer to guard Marko Jaric for the 2005-06 season.

NBA teams are required to make qualifying offers by this Thursday in order to establish players as restricted free agents.

Jaric, who was the 30th overall selection in the 2000 NBA Draft, has averaged 8.5 points, 4.5 assists and 2.9 rebounds over his three-year career with the Clippers. This past season was his best, as Jaric averaged 9.9 points and 6.1 assists in 50 contests. He missed 32 games due to a stress fracture in his right foot.
