(Basketball News) - The Dallas Mavericks were crushed by the Sacramento Kings, 120-102, on Thursday at ARCO Arena.
Dirk Nowitzki paced the Mavericks with 21 points as all 12 Mavericks that played, scored in the game. Michael Finley chipped in 18 points and six assists, while Steve Nash and Marquis Daniels scored 13 and 10 points, respectively. Dallas lost for the fourth time in the last five games overall and had a three-game winning streak snapped versus the Kings.
Dallas managed to shoot just 41 percent (43-of-105) from the field.
The Mavericks have lost six of their last seven road games. Dallas, which had a two-game winning streak in Sacramento halted fell to 11-20 on the road.
Nowitzki has scored in double digits in 12 straight games. He has averaged 20.6 points and 7.7 rebounds in that span.
Dallas is off until Saturday when it visits the Phoenix Suns. It will be the third contest of the season between the squads, as the clubs have split the two previous games. The teams will meet once again on April 3rd at American Airlines Center.
