Dunleavy leads Warriors past slumping Sixers

Jason Richardson scored 23 points and Troy Murphy posted a double-double with 12 points and 16 boards for Golden State, which has won three of its last four.

Chris Webber had 21 points and nine rebounds for the 76ers, who have lost four in a row without the services of Allen Iverson. The star guard has been out of the lineup since last Sunday, when he sustained a sprain and contusion of the right foot at the end of the first half against Memphis.

Andre Iguodala picked up some of the slack with 20 points, while Steven Hunter contributed 15.

"Obviously when you have a guy out like Allen Iverson, it takes a lot of pressure off their defense," Iguodala said. "The tough part today was just making up for our mistakes."

The Warriors used a 6-0 spurt midway through the fourth quarter to extend their lead to 77-70, but Philadelphia answered right back.

After the teams exchanged buckets, Kyle Korver drained a three and Iguodala followed with a driving layup to make it a two-point game with 6:46 on the clock. Korver then sank a jumper to tie the game at 79-79 and cap the 9-2 run.

Golden State, however, made one final push.

With the game knotted at 81-81 moments later, Murphy put the Warriors back in front for good with a tip-in and Mickael Pietrus added a lay-in on the next trip down to make it a four-point game with 4:28 left.

Pietrus’ jumper with under three minutes to play extended the advantage to 88-82, and the Sixers came no closer than four the rest of the way.

"We weren’t really uptight and we didn’t have a reason to be all season," Dunleavy said. "We’re just playing well and I hope we keep it up."

Golden State owned a 27-25 edge after the first quarter, and bumped its lead up to three, 49-46, by halftime.

Richardson had 15 at the break to pace the Warriors, while Webber led all scorers with 16.
