Fortson suspended by NBA

 
New York, NY (Basketball News) - Seattle SuperSonics forward Danny Fortson was suspended one game by the NBA for verbally abusing a game official and failure to leave the court in a timely manner following an ejection.

Fortson knocked over a water cooler after being ejected with 9:13 remaining in the fourth quarter of Seattle’s 106-90 win over the Utah Jazz on December 9.

He served the suspension during Seattle’s 123-104 loss to the Sacramento Kings on Saturday night.
