Giricek leads Jazz past Bucks 11.22.2005

Mehmet Okur added 16 points, while Matt Harpring and Devin Brown each scored 12, as the Jazz snapped a five-game skid and won at home against Milwaukee for the 14th time in the last 17 meetings.
Rookie Deron Williams tallied 10 points and 10 assists for Utah, which also got eight points and 10 rebounds from Greg Ostertag.
Michael Redd had 25 points to top the Bucks, who fell behind in the second quarter and never recovered on the way to their second consecutive defeat.
The Bucks were actually ahead, 21-20, after one quarter, but the Jazz scored seven in a row in the second to go in front for good, 31-24. Giricek’s jumper started the spurt, and two layups by Milt Palacio capped the rally.
Utah ended the first half on an 11-3 run to lead 54-39 at the intermission. Giricek and Okur hit back-to-back three-pointers and Williams ended the first half by hitting three free throws.
The Jazz continually widened their lead in the third and gained their biggest advantage at 99-75 with just under two minutes left in the final quarter.
