(Basketball News) - Jason Richardson netted 14 of his 19 points in the second half to help the Golden State Warriors hold on to a 104-96 victory over the Indiana Pacers, spoiling Reggie Miller’s season debut at The Arena on Saturday.
Troy Murphy recorded 17 points and 12 rebounds and Mickael Pietrus came off the bench to score 15 in just 18 minutes as the Warriors had six players in double figures to snap a four-game skid.
Speedy Claxton finished with 13 points and six assists for Golden State, which earned its first win over a team above .500 this season.
The Warriors will end their brief two-game homestand with Monday’s game against the Boston Celtics.
