=== Golden State Warriors Team Report - January 17 ===

(Basketball News) - The Golden State Warriors fell to the Phoenix Suns, 104-93, on Friday at America West Arena.

Erick Dampier and Mike Dunleavy each scored a team-high 19 points for the Warriors, who lost their 10th straight road game. Speedy Claxton chipped in 18 points and Calbert Cheaney came off the bench to net 11.

The Warriors were without several players for the contest, as Troy Murphy did not play due to a bone bruise in his right ankle, and Nick Van Exel sat out due to inflammation in his left knee. Brian Cardinal did not make the trip due to the flu and Evan Eschmeyer missed the contest following knee surgery.

Golden State, which dropped to 4-16 on the road, has lost 10 of its last 12 contests.

The Warriors are off until Monday when they host the Utah Jazz.
