Golden State Warriors Team Report - January 29

(Basketball News) - The Warriors came up with a huge 97-90 win over the Minnesota Timberwolves on Wednesday night.

Erick Dampier finished with 21 points and 19 rebounds to lead the Warriors to the win. Brian Cardinal added 21 points and nine rebounds off the bench for the Warriors, who earned their second straight victory. Speedy Claxton posted 19 points.

Jason Richardson added 17 points and 10 boards for Golden State, which overcame an eight-point deficit late in the third to pick up the win.

Golden State, which improved to 14-7 at home this season, has won nine of its last 26 games in the series with Minnesota.

The Warriors have a day off before hosting the Chicago Bulls Friday evening.
