(Basketball News) - The struggling Golden State Warriors visit the playoff- bound Hornets tonight at New Orleans Arena.

Earlier this season, New Orleans defeated the Warriors, 96-85, on December 12, 2003 at the Arena in Oakland. This is the final meeting of the season between the two clubs.

The Hornets have won eight of the last nine contests with the Warriors, who have lost six straight and seven of their last eight at the Hornets.

Golden State is 6-2 in Saturday games this season. The Warriors are a brutal 7-26 on the road.

The Warriors have lost eight straight overall. On Friday, Golden State was crushed by the San Antonio Spurs, 99-74 at the SBC Center. Clifford Robinson led the Warriors with 19 points in the losing effort.
