(Basketball News) - The struggling Golden State Warriors lost to the New Orleans Hornets, 102-84, on Saturday at New Orleans Arena.

Jason Richardson scored 18 points for the Warriors, who dropped their ninth in a row, a season-worst. Golden State played the final contest of a four-game road trip

Earlier this season, New Orleans defeated the Warriors, 96-85, on December 12, 2003 at the Arena in Oakland. This was the final meeting of the season between the two clubs.

Golden State is 6-3 in Saturday games this season. The Warriors are a brutal 7-27 on the road.

The Warriors are off until Monday when they host the San Antonio Spurs. It will be the fourth and final meeting of the season between the two clubs. Golden State is 1-2 against the Spurs this season.
