=== Golden State Warriors Team Report - March 20 ===

(Basketball News) - Golden State picked up a nice 90-84 win over the Houston Rockets on Friday night at The Arena in Oakland.

Mickael Pietrus scored 20 points on 7-of-8 shooting from the floor, as he led the Warriors to the win. Troy Murphy came off the bench to net 16 points for the Warriors, who ended a 15-game home losing streak to the Rockets.

Erick Dampier chipped in 12 points and eight boards, as Golden State won its third straight game. Dampier helped limit Yao Ming to just 10 points in the contest as well.

Avery Johnson added 11 points for the Warriors. The Warriors improved to 21-13 at home this season, while the Rockets fell to 14-17 on the road.

Injured Warriors point guard Nick Van Exel (chronic left knee inflammation) will remain in Houston for several weeks to work with his personal doctor.

It was the Warriors’ fifth sellout of the season.

Golden State will look to keep their hot streak alive Sunday afternoon, when they travel to the Staples Center to face the Los Angeles Clippers.
