=== Golden State Warriors Team Report - November 13 ===

(Basketball News) - The listless Golden State Warriors will try to get in the win column this evening, when they continue their five-game road trip in Charlotte versus the expansion Bobcats at Charlotte Coliseum.

Golden State is getting closer and closer to reaching the franchise’s worst start to a campaign, as it went 0-9 to begin the 1997-98 season. New head coach Mike Montgomery, who left a cushy job at Stanford to take over for the Warriors, is still looking for his first win.

The Warriors’ woes continued on Friday night, as they fell 96-67 to the Memphis Grizzlies at FedExForum. Eduardo Najera netted a game-high 16 points off the bench for the Warriors, while Troy Murphy posted 15 points and 12 boards in the loss.

Memphis only led by four after the opening 12 minutes, but outscored Golden State 32-17 in the second quarter to take a commanding 51-32 lead into the intermission. The Warriors hardly challenged in the final half of the contest.

Golden State only shot 28 percent from the field (25-91) and lost the battle on the glass, 62-46.

The Warriors are struggling to score points this season, averaging a league low 79.5 per game. On average, Golden State is losing its games by 14.2 points and shooting only 35 percent from the field.

Golden State is 0-3 in foreign buildings this season.
