Grizzlies try to halt losing streak against Kings 04.10.2007

This is the third and final meeting of the campaign between the clubs. The teams split the first two contests, as both squads picked up a win at home.
Sacramento has lost three straight and five of its last six at Memphis.
Memphis opens a three-game homestand this evening. On Saturday, Dwight Howard recorded a double-double with 31 points and 11 rebounds to lead the Orlando Magic to a 116-89 victory over the Grizzlies at Amway Arena.
Chucky Atkins led Memphis with 18 points and Tarance Kinsey added 15 points in the loss to Orlando for the Grizzlies. Hakim Warrick and Pau Gasol both scored 14 for Memphis, which has dropped nine of its last 11 games overall.
The Grizzlies are 12-26 at home this season. They will host the Denver Nuggets on Saturday and the San Antonio Spurs on April 16th, which is their final home game this season.
Rookie forward Rudy Gay (sprained right ankle) is questionable for tonight’s contest. Gay is averaging 11.0 points and 4.5 rebounds in 77 games for Memphis. He did not play against Orlando.
Sacramento also tries to get back on the winning track, as it plays the first of a brief two-game road trip. All-Star Tracy McGrady poured in 40 points, pulled down eight rebounds and dished out 10 assists to lift the Houston Rockets to a 112-106 win over the Kings at the Toyota Center.
Kevin Martin ended with 24 points in the loss to the Rockets for Sacramento. Francisco Garcia netted 16 for the Kings, who have lost 13 of their last 16 games overall.
The Kings are 11-27 on the road this season. They will visit Tim Duncan and the Spurs on Wednesday at the AT&T Center. Minnesota Timberwolves on Wednesday at the Target Center.
