Hawks’ Josh Smith activated off IL

Milwaukee, WI (Basketball News) - The Atlanta Hawks activated forward Josh Smith off the injured list Saturday and placed guard Kenny Anderson on the IL with a strained left hamstring.

Smith has missed the last five games with a sprained right ankle. He is expected to be available for Saturday night’s game in Milwaukee against the Bucks.

In 40 games (25 starts) this season, Smith is averaging 7.8 points, 5.2 rebounds and 1.6 assists.

Anderson has played in 39 games this season, making 20 starts, and is averaging 5.0 points and 2.5 assists in 18.4 minutes per game.
