Heat activate forward Allen

Allen, 26, was placed on the injured list November 23 with back spasms and had successful surgery to alleviate the problem on December 1. He averaged 7.1 points and 4.3 rebounds in 10 games before landing on the IL.

In a related move, the Heat placed first-round draft pick Dorell Wright on the injured list again with bilateral patella tendinitis. Wright, who began the season on the injured list with an abdominal strain, played in just one game after being activated on February 3.
