Houston Rockets Team Report - April 15

(Basketball News) - The Houston Rockets lost to the Dallas Mavericks, 92-89, on Wednesday at the Toyota Center in the regular-season finale for both teams.

Scott Padgett scored 18 points and hauled in 10 boards for the Rockets (45-37), who ended as the seventh seed in the West and will begin their playoff run against the Lakers, who won the Pacific Division title and earned the second seed. Mike Wilks netted 13 in the loss.

The Rockets were 2-2 against the Lakers this season.

Houston and the Lakers play the first game of the best-of-seven series on Saturday at the Staples Center.
