Houston Rockets Team Report - December 12

(Basketball News) - The Houston Rockets’ early-season struggles continued on Saturday, as they were routed by their Lone Star State rival Dallas Mavericks, 102-78, at the Toyota Center.

Tracy McGrady had 15 points and Yao Ming 13 to lead the Rockets, who had a three-game win streak halted and suffered their worst defeat of the season.

Houston’s worst previous loss was 21 points against Detroit on November 30.

There was little suspense to this contest. Houston fell behind 10-0 and never got within six the rest of the way.

The Rockets will return to action on Wednesday against the Hawks.
