Magic, Jazz battle at EnergySolutions Arena 11.27.2006

Utah had its eight-game winning streak ended on Saturday at Oakland. Matt Barnes scored 17 of his career-high 24 points in the third quarter and Monta Ellis added 21, as the Golden State Warriors used a balanced attack to beat the Jazz, 91-78, at ORACLE Arena.
Matt Harpring ended with 15 points, while Deron Williams scored 14 and dished out eight assists in the loss to Golden State for the Jazz, who are still and impressive 12-2 on the season.
The Jazz are a perfect 7-0 at home this season. They will host Tim Duncan and the San Antonio Spurs on Wednesday in the finale of a short two-game homestand.
Orlando has won three in a row and starts a six-game road trip this evening. Rising star Dwight Howard finished with 11 points, 11 rebounds and three blocks to lead the Magic to a 98-79 win over the Atlanta Hawks on Saturday at TD Waterhouse Centre.
Carlos Arroyo led six double-digit scorers with 15 points in the win over Atlanta for the Magic, while Hedo Turkoglu netted 14 points for Orlando, which has won seven of its last eight contests overall. Keith Bogans and Keyon Dooling scored 13 apiece in victory.
The Magic are 3-3 on the road this season. The will also visit the Seattle SuperSonics, Portland Trail Blazers, Los Angeles Clippers, Sacramento Kings and Indiana Pacers on the current swing.
This is the first of two meetings this season between the Jazz and Orlando. The Magic are scheduled to host Utah on March 14, 2007 at TD Waterhouse Centre.
Orlando has lost two of three and eight of its last 10 at Utah. The Magic have won four of the last five contests in this series.
