Mavs go for third win in a row at home vs. Denver 11.15.2005

These two teams have split the last six contests in this series. The Nuggets have lost 14 of their last 15 at Dallas.
Dallas returns home after going 2-1 on a three-game road trip. Dirk Nowitzki scored 30 points as the Mavericks held off the New Orleans/Oklahoma City Hornets, 109-103, at the Ford Center.
Jason Terry added 26 points on 10-of-16 shooting, including 10 crucial fourth- quarter points as the Hornets were climbing back into the game. Keith Van Horn chipped in 15 points off the bench for the Mavericks.
The Mavericks will also also host the Atlanta Hawks, Detroit Pistons and the Houston Rockets on the current stand.
Dallas is 1-0 at home this season, as it defeated the world champion San Antonio Spurs, 103-84, on November 5.
Denver starts a brief two-game road trip. On Sunday, Marcus Camby scored 18 points and grabbed 22 rebounds as the Nuggets led almost the entire way in defeating the Minnesota Timberwolves, 102-91, at the Pepsi Center.
Carmelo Anthony led all scorers with 23 points and DerMarr Johnson added 17 for the Nuggets, who shot 48 percent from the floor, including 7-of-12 three- pointers in Sunday’s victory while getting to the foul line 26 times, converting 17 attempts. Earl Boykins tallied 16 points off the bench and the Nuggets dominated Minnesota on the glass, 54-30.
The Nuggets are 0-3 on the road this season. Denver is scheduled to visit the New Orleans/Oklahoma City Hornets on Wednesday in the finale of the short swing.
