(Basketball News) - The Memphis Grizzlies fell to the Chicago Bulls, 96-88, at the FedExForum on Wednesday.
Pau Gasol paced Memphis with a game-high 24 points. Mike Miller added 12 while James Posey and Bonzi Wells each contributed 10 for Memphis, which has dropped two straight and three of four.
Jason Williams, who was activated off the injured list prior to the game, also scored 10 points in 23 minutes in the setback.
Prior to the game, Memphis also placed guard Antonio Burks on the IL with a fractured right pinky finger. The Grizzlies played without forward Shane Battier, who missed the contest with an ankle injury.
Gasol has scored 20 or more points in nine of the 21 games he has played in this season. He leads the team in scoring (19.0 ppg) and rebounding (8.8 rpg).
The Grizzlies are off until Friday when they host Jason Kidd and the New Jersey Nets. Last season, The Grizzlies swept the two meetings between the clubs.
