(Basketball News) - The Memphis Grizzlies play the second of a four-game road trip tonight, as they visit the Los Angeles Lakers at the Staples Center.
The Grizzlies enter this contest with an 0-18 record at the Lakers.
This is the second meeting of the season between the two clubs. On November 10th, the Grizzlies knocked off the Lakers, 110-87, at the FedExForum. Overall, the home team has won the last five contests in this series.
On Sunday, Pau Gasol scored 20 points and pulled down eight rebounds to lead Memphis to a 92-82 victory over the Los Angeles Clippers at the Staples Center.
Jason Williams chipped in 17 points and seven assists in Sunday’s win for Memphis, which has won two in a row. Mike Miller netted 14 points and Lorenzen Wright collected 12 points and six boards for the Grizzlies.
Gasol is averaging 20.5 points and 8.4 rebounds in his last 10 contests for the Grizzlies, who are attempting to win three straight games for the first time this season.
Memphis is 4-8 on the road this season.
