(Basketball News) - Dwyane Wade poured in 33 points and dished out 11 assists to lead Miami to a 108-100 win over Boston at AmericanAirlines Arena.
Udonis Haslem added 18 points and tied a career-high with 17 rebounds for the Heat, who have won nine straight games and are on their longest winning streak since capturing 10 straight in March, 1998.
Miami played without All-Star center Shaquille O’Neal, who sat out with a calf injury sustained in last Sunday’s game against Orlando. O’Neal, though, is hopeful to return for Saturday’s Christmas Day contest against Kobe Bryant and the Los Angeles Lakers.
Eddie Jones contributed 17 points and Damon Jones netted 12 in the win.
The Heat reeled off a franchise-best 11-game winning streak from January 27 to February 20, 1997.
Miami is 11-3 at home this year and has won five straight in South Beach.
