(Basketball News) - The Minnesota Timberwolves had their five-game winning streak halted on Saturday, falling to the Houston Rockets, 95-76, at the Toyota Center.
Sam Cassell scored 25 points to pace the Timberwolves.
Kevin Garnett finished with 19 points, seven rebounds and six assists for the Timberwolves, while Latrell Sprewell ended with 13 points and Trenton Hassell chipped in with 11 in the loss.
Minnesota hit at a 37-percent clip (29-of-79) from the field, going 6-of-16 from beyond the arc. The Timberwolves were 12-of-16 from the free throw line.
"We got kicked, and that’s all you can say about it," said Timberwolves head coach Flip Saunders. "They came out and dominated us from beginning to end."
The Timberwolves are off until Monday when they host Baron Davis and the New Orleans Hornets.
