=== Jackson re-signs with Storm ===

Seattle, WA (Basketball News) - The Seattle Storm have re-signed former WNBA MVP Lauren Jackson to a multi-year contract.

A four-time All-Star, Jackson averaged 17.6 points and 9.2 rebounds in 34 games last season, ranking second in the league in both categories. In 2003, she averaged career bests in points (21.2), rebounds (9.3), assists (1.9) and field-goal percentage (.483) to win the MVP award.

"I’m so excited to return to Seattle and to continue to deliver wins for our great fans at KeyArena," Jackson said. "I can’t wait to get back with my Storm teammates and start working towards another championship."

In 2004, Jackson averaged 20.5 points and led the Storm to the WNBA title.
