Shock guard Miller suspended

 
New York, NY (Basketball News) - The WNBA has reportedly suspended Detroit Shock guard Elaine Powell five games for an elbowing incident last week.

According to the Detroit Free Press, Powell elbowed Mystics guard Coco Miller in the second half of last Thursday’s win in Washington. Powell’s suspension will begin on Wednesday.

In 14 games this season for the Mystics, Powell is averaging 7.7 points, 3.2 assists and 3.0 rebounds per contest.
