Bucks deal Van Horn to Dallas 02.24.2005

According to the Dallas Morning News, the deal was completed just prior to Thursday’s 3 p.m. (et) trade deadline.
It was the second deal of the day for the Bucks, who earlier shipped Mike James to Houston.
The Bucks are believed to have made both deals with the objective of inking a multi-year contract extension with All-Star Michael Redd, who will be a free agent after this season.
Going to his fifth team in eight seasons, Van Horn has averaged 10.4 points and five rebounds in 33 games this season for Milwaukee. The 6-10 forward, who has also spent time in Philadelphia, New Jersey and New York, has played in 493 games and posted career averages of 17 points and 7.3 boards.
In his sixth season, Booth is averaging 2.4 points and 1.7 rebounds in 34 games this year. He has posted 4.3 points and 3.3 boards in 233 career contests.
Henderson is averaging 3.5 points and 4.5 rebounds in 52 games this season. In 537 career games, Henderson has posted 8.9 points and 5.4 rebounds per outing.
