Bulls exercise options on Deng, Gordon, Khryapa 10.24.2006

The 6-3, 200-pound Gordon has played in 162 games with 50 starts over the last two seasons with Chicago, averaging 16.0 ppg, 2.7 rpg and 2.5 apg while shooting 41.7 percent from the field and 74.7 percent from the line.
Gordon, the third pick in the 2004 NBA Draft, is the only rookie in NBA history to win the Sixth Man Award.
Deng also came out of the ’04 draft, but as part of a deal with the Phoenix Suns. The 6-9, 220-pound forward, who has appeared in 139 games with 101 starts, has shot 45.2 percent from the field and 74.7 percent from the line with averages of 13.1 ppg, 6.0 rpg and 2.0 apg in 30.7 mpg.
The 6-9, 218-pound Khryapa was the 22nd overall pick in the ’04 draft, and in two seasons with Portland, he has averaged 5.3 ppg, 4.1 rpg, 1.1 apg in 101 games with 58 starts. The Kiev, Ukraine native joined the Bulls on June 28, 2006 along with Tyrus Thomas in a deal that sent the draft rights of LaMarcus Aldridge to the Trail Blazers.
