Cavs again place Wagner on injured list

Cleveland, OH (Basketball News) - The Cleveland Cavaliers Tuesday placed guard Dajuan Wagner on the injured list with colitis.

It marks the fourth time this season that Wagner has spent time on the IL. He missed the first seven games of the campaign with a right ankle sprain and was also sidelined because of right and left foot plantar fasciitis.

Wagner was hospitalized last week with intestinal flu and was later diagnosed with an inflamed large intestine. He has played in only 11 games this season and is averaging four points per contest.

Meanwhile, the club activated center DeSagana Diop from the injured list. Diop had been sidelined with a left elbow contusion. In 15 games this season, he is averaging 0.9 points and 2.7 rebounds per outing.
