Celtics place Gugliotta on injured list 11.23.2004

Gugliotta aggravated the problem during last Friday’s 92-84 loss to the San Antonio Spurs. He is averaging 1.7 points and 2.6 rebounds in 12.9 minutes per contest.
He signed with the Celtics in August after splitting time last season with the Phoenix Suns and Utah Jazz. He was traded by the Suns to the Jazz along with a first-round pick in February in exchange for Keon Clark and Ben Handlogten.
The 34-year-old Huntington Station, New York native was selected in the first round (sixth overall) of the 1992 draft by the Washington Wizards. The former North Carolina State star has also enjoyed stints with Golden State and Minnesota.
Boston, meanwhile, activated forward Justin Reed from the injured list. The 40th overall pick in the 2004 NBA Draft was hampered by a hip pointer.
