Cleveland Cavaliers Team Report - November 8 11.8.2003

(Basketball News) - Cleveland remained winless on Friday, as the Indiana Pacers defeated the Cavaliers, 91-90, at Conseco Fieldhouse.
Rookie sensation LeBron James recorded 23 points and five boards for the Cavaliers, who are still looking for their first win of the 2003-04 campaign after five games.
The Cavaliers only led for a minute and a half throughout the entire game, but came on strong at the end and almost stole their first win of the season.
With 2:34 to play, Darius Miles gave Cleveland its first lead since 2-0 when he scored in the lane to put his team ahead, 88-86.
After Jeff Foster tied the game at 88-88 via two free throws for the Pacers, DeSagana Diop gave the Cavs another two-point edge when he drilled a jumper in the lane with 26.7 seconds left.
But on the next possession, Indiana’s Ron Artest received the ball in the low post and completed a three-point play after getting fouled by Ricky Davis.
Cleveland then got the ball and James missed a shot while driving in the lane. The Cavs did get the ball back as it went out of bounds off a Pacer, but Diop missed a shot with just two seconds left and time expired.
The Cavaliers host the Wizards tonight.
