(Basketball News) - Voshon Lenard poured in a season-high 26 points to lead the Denver Nuggets to a 98-86 victory over the Los Angeles Clippers Saturday at the Staples Center.
Coming off a 22-point effort during an impressive win over Dallas on Friday, Lenard hit 11-of-17 shots in this contest, as Denver won its third straight and fifth in six tries.
Andre Miller chipped in with 19 points and seven assists for the Nuggets.
Francisco Elson came off the bench for the Nuggets and grabbed a career-high 11 boards, while reserves Earl Boykins and Rodney White each had 10 points for Denver.
Rookie sensation Carmelo Anthony finished with 12 points and 10 rebounds in 34 minutes for the Nuggets.
The Nuggets are off until Tuesday when they host rookie phenom LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers.
