Duncan scored 13 of his game-high 26 points in the fourth quarter, as the Spurs needed six games to advance to their second conference finals in three years. He also had nine rebounds, five assists and two blocks for San Antonio, which rallied to win the last two games of this best-of-seven series.
Tony Parker and Robert Horry each had 14 points for the Spurs, who will next face the winner of the Dallas-Phoenix series. Manu Ginobili tallied 13 points, seven assists and six rebounds for San Antonio, which has won eight of its last 10 in the postseason.
Ray Allen had 25 points for the Sonics, who fell for the only time at home in these playoffs. Allen had his three-pointer as time expired bounce out and the Sonics saw their hopes of a deciding Game 7 dissipate.
