Hawks continue road trip in Seattle 12.5.2006

This is the second and final meeting of the season between the clubs. On November 11th, Ray Allen poured in 33 points, including the game-winning layup with 1.2 seconds remaining in overtime to lead the SuperSonics to a 113-112 victory over the Hawks at Philips Arena.
The SuperSonics have won six in a row in this series. Atlanta has lost two straight and four of its last five at Seattle.
Joe Johnson scored 33 points, grabbed six rebounds and had six assists, as Atlanta ended a nine-game losing streak to Portland after downing the Trail Blazers, 107-96, on Sunday at the Rose Garden.
Johnson hit the 30-point mark for the fourth straight game in the win over the Trail Blazers for Atlanta, while Tyronn Lue added 19 points and hit some big shots down the stretch for the Hawks, who also ended a seven-game losing streak at the Rose Garden. Josh Smith scores 13 points and pulled down 12 rebounds in the victory.
Atlanta is 3-4 on the road this season. It will also visit Denver, the Lakers and Sacramento on the current road trip.
Seattle tries to bounce back from a loss, as it starts a three-game homestand. On Saturday, Mehmet Okur drilled the game-winning three-pointer with 1.6 seconds left in regulation to lift the Utah Jazz past the SuperSonics, 109-107, at EnergySolutions Arena.
Allen finished with 33 points, 20 of which came in the fourth quarter, despite shooting 8-of-19 from the field in the loss to Utah for the SuperSonics, who have lost four of their last five contests overall. Rashard Lewis collected 27 points and eight rebounds in defeat.
The SuperSonics are 3-6 at KeyArena this season. They will host the New Orleans/Oklahoma City Hornets on Friday and the Golden State Warriors on Sunday in the finale of the homestand.
