(Basketball News) - Al Harrington scored a season-high 27 points and added seven rebounds to lift the Indiana Pacers over the Boston Celtics, 99-98, at Conseco Fieldhouse on Saturday.
Ron Artest contributed 23 points and seven boards for the Pacers, who have won two straight on the heels of a two-game slide. Jermaine O’Neal scored just four points in 12 minutes as he left the game in the first half due to a strained neck.
This was the third meeting of the season between the two teams. Boston defeated the Pacers, 78-76, on November 11, 2003 at Conseco Fieldhouse, while Indiana knocked off the Celtics, 103-90, on January 2, 2004 at the FleetCenter.
The Pacers played the second of a three-game homestand and will host the Los Angeles Lakers on Monday in the finale of its brief homestand
